A great beach is made even greater if you can stay close to it - better yet if you can stay ON it!

Our aim at Best Aussie Beaches is to help you choose the best beach-side accommodation that suits your needs and your budget.

We have found a great place to start is Coast-Accommodation - all of the properties listed are within 15 kilometres of the sea, with many RIGHT ON the water.

My own favourite Best Aussie Beach Accommodation is an 11.6 metre sailing catamaran, the Tropical Sunset, from Queensland Yacht Charters, that recently took 6 of us in comfort around the Whitsunday Islands just off Airlie Beach for 7 magnificent nights.

Our featured accommodation.
